The 90 Second Thesis Competition is a unique opportunity for Rice University graduate students to showcase their research, hone their communication skills, and network with professionals in a variety of disciplines.
In order reach the next level of competition, we are currently looking for funding to increase the number and diversity of student scholars and programs represented in the competition. By making a donation, you’ll be making a tax-deductible contribution that will support graduate student professional development, gain valuable exposure to potential recruits for your organization, and demonstrate your commitment to the continued pursuit of path breaking research and intellectual curiosity at Rice University.
The following describes levels of giving and how your support will directly benefit graduate students and programs that will advance the most promising research and projects at Rice.
- Barred Owl – Donate $50 towards funding competitive prizes for our deserving student participants. Barred Owl sponsors will receive special mention in the event program.
- Eastern Screech Owl – Donate $100 towards funding for competitive prizes and event coordination efforts. Eastern Screen Owl sponsors will receive special mention in the event program and on the event welcome poster.
- Great Horned Owl – Donate $250 towards funding competitive prizes, proper event documentation, including videography and photography services, as well as other event coordination efforts. Great Horned Owl sponsors will be featured on all promotional material before and during the event.
Donations of any amount will also be accepted. All non-premium donations will go towards funding for prizes.
